5 Reasons you should come to 'Tasting Australia'
Apr 23, 2017Do your kids know where food comes from?
At TASTING AUSTRALIA this year, they're teaching kids about the sources of food and encouraging kids to get messy. Artventure has been asked to join in and I'm so excited to be showcasing an Artventure lesson to 130 children, over 6 sessions.
WHY YOU SHOULD COME TO TASTING AUSTRALIA 2017
1. Taste South Australia at its best
I'm very proud to be South Australian and the food and wine our state has to offer is some of the best in the world. Eat, drink, be merry and be a part of a wonderful South Australian production.
2. You can bring the kids!
Who doesn't love an event where you can bring the kids along and know that they'll be equally as entertained as you!? There are events for the adults and events for the kids so everyone can have the best day out!
3. Artventure will be there!
On Thursday 4th of May and Saturday 6th of May, I will be taking Artventure to "The Glasshouse" at Tasting Australia and kids can learn to draw an artwork of 'Sources of Food'. It'll be lots of fun! Book in here
4. The big names!
Wow, what a list of top names are a part of Tasting Australia: chef and television personality Simon Bryant, wine expert Paul Henry, owner and chef of Restaurant Orana Jock Zonfrillo and Australian food icon Maggie Beer.
5. The city of Adelaide
When was the last time you visited Adelaide city? It's one of the most beautiful cities in the world so you must jump on a tram (and a plane if you need to prior!) and check out the city that I call home.
Happy drawing, painting, creating of food!
